Abu Dhabi cuts speed limit to 100km/h on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Road from Monday

Abu Dhabi: The speed limit on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Road (E311) will be reduced from 120km/h to 100km/h in both directions from Monday, September 14, Abu Dhabi Mobility has announced.The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) said the new speed limit will apply to traffic travelling in both directions on the road.

In a separate announcement on its X account, Abu Dhabi Mobility said two left lanes on Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road (E11), in the direction of Al Shahama, will be temporarily closed.The closure will be in place from 12am on Sunday, September 13, until 5am on Monday, September 14, 2026.
