Dubai: As dusty conditions prevail, the UAE is seeing a slight rise in temperature today, with Abu Dhabi hitting 40°C, and Dubai and Fujairah topping out at 38°C.The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warns that internal temperatures in areas around the UAE, such as denser city centres, may see a maximum temperature range of 40°C to 46°C today. The country is continuing to experience dust storms and blowing sand, a result of northwesterly winds blowing its dust load, especially in open or desert areas. Be careful while driving through such zones, since it may cause a reduction in visibility. It also may be best to avoid night-time swimming today, as the Arabian Gulf is expected to become rough by late night, with wave heights of three feet on shore, and up to six feet off shore.Weekend weather changeDusty conditions are expected to clear up by Saturday afternoon, across the UAE, with a dip in temperature to the mid-30s. On Sunday, expect fair weather with partly cloudy skies, and rising humidity by night time. The NCM said cautioned there is a probability of mist formation, especially in the western region of the UAE, late on Sunday, and early Monday morning.Minimum and maximum temperatures across the UAE today:Dubai: 38°C – 24°CAbu Dhabi: 40°C – 27°CSharjah: 39°C – 26°CAjman: 34°C – 26°CUmm Al Quwain: 37°C – 23°CRas Al Khaimah: 42°C – 27°CFujairah: 38°C – 30°CAl Ain: 42°C – 25°CLiwa: 43°C – 23°C
